King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah was the eldest son of King Mahendra and eleventh king of the Kingdom of Nepal after Prithvi Narayan Shah. He was born on 29 December 1944 in Narayanhiti Royal Palace in Kathmandu Nepal. Although King Birendra was assassinated, his quotes and words will never die.

He ruled the kingdom of Nepal from 31 January 1972 to 1 June 2001 until his death which is still considered to be unsolved mystery, although there are some theories and conclusions on the in the 2001 Nepalese royal massacre.

King Birendra was famous Nepali king and very popular among the people of Nepal.

From a very young age, king Birendra was considered to be very king and emotional prince. He was considered one of the few king in Nepalese monarchy who wanted his people to experience real democracy. This is also one of the reason he was liked by his people.

King Birendra was born to Mahendra and princess Indra Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah. Princess Indra Rajya Lakshmi succumbed to a complication following the birth of her sixth child, Dhirendra.

King Birendra was married to Queen Aishwarya Rajya Lakxmi Devi Shah. King Birendra along with queen Aishwarya gave birth to three children. The eldest son was crown prince Dipendra. The other child were Prince Nirajan and princess Shruti. Although Queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi wasn’t as much of a battle girl as the Queen of Jhansi, but she had a good presence in music.  One of her top music was Subhakamani Vari, sung by Tara Devi.

Queen Aishwarya Rajya Laxmi was one and only wife of King Birendra. She was the eldest daughter of late general Kendra Shumsher Jang Bahadur Rana and Shree Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah. She was born on 7th November 1949 in Kathmandu, Nepal

She was considered as a women of classical beauty. She had great interest in music.
